We’re happy to announce that our packaging design for SIMPLo has been awarded with silver in the Dieline Awards.
“Colour, texture and proportion are utilised harmoniously to differentiate SIMPLo’s coffee from a crowded marketplace but also bond its range as a family. Svenskt Tenn Exhibits “Heritage”
Designer Luca Nichetto was born in Venice in 1976 and raised on the small island of Murano. As a child he didn’t understand that designing was a profession and something that people worked with. To him it was the norm – present in every part of daily life. With a glassblower grandfather, family, friends and neighbours in the glass industry, there really wasn’t anything else. And it was growing up in this environment, with the glassblowing craft and the island’s wealth of colour that eventually made their mark on his artistic style.
Nichetto first came in contact with Svenskt Tenn when he moved to Stockhom in 2011 to open his second studio. He describes the new Fusa series as a bridge between Stockholm and Murano. The collection was created with inspiration from Josef Frank’s Terrazzo textile print.
The exhibition is on now until 31st of March 2019 in the store on Strandvägen 5 in Stockholm. A must-see!
Anna Jandler joins Planeta
On November the 5th, Anna Jandler becomes our new CEO and Partner at Planeta Design, with Sandra Planeta carrying on as Creative Director and Partner.
Most recently Anna was the Commercial Manager at the production house Twenty Studios, and before that, Concept Manager at Bonnier Business Media and Veckans Affärer — one of Sweden’s biggest business magazines. Anna is a true leader and her experience in the media industry is substantial.

Rachel Brathen – Yoga Girl®
We are so proud and happy to finally announce our partnership with Yoga Girl. Rachel Brathen, the influencer behind the phenomenon Yoga Girl, started out by posting photos of her life as a yoga instructor on social media.
However, Rachel’s message and mission resonated online and soon she had followers numbering in the hundreds of thousands. It was her determination to change the world for the better that spurred Rachel to take the worldwide Yoga Girl movement to the next level.
During 2017-18 Yoga Girl and Planeta Design have developed an international brand, designed products, created custom content and took the first steps in building an online educational platform which is to be marketed internationally but with a focus on the US.

Svenskt Tenn in Finland
This summer Svenskt Tenn brought its Swedish classics to Finland, exhibiting a collection in two Helsinki art museums. The iconic Swedish brand has been welcomed by the Finns, so much that the Svenskt Tenn Pop-Up Shop in Helsinki’s premier department store Stockmann will now be open until Christmas. Check it out!

Som person är du serviceinriktad, ansvarstagande och lösningsorienterad, och förhoppningsvis har du nära till skratt!
