Teaming Up at Sea
For a couple of days, the Planetas took a break from the daily routine to experience an inspiring workshop far out in the archipelago of Stockholm. Finishing off with a proper Kräftskiva, riding the jetski and relaxing on the pier to the sound of waves, we were back in the game and ready to kick off another new season — made possible by Sandra’s hospitality and navigation skills.
Breakfast at Planeta’s
The first, live Planeta seminar took place this past week, and the turn-up was nothing less than great! A morning lecture about Sandra’s jury experience at the Cannes Lions festival, sharing some favourites and many creative solutions to tricky briefs, left us inspired with lots of different thoughts and emotions. Food for thought, to say the least.
A Jump Start With ColArt
Planeta has worked closely with UK-based ColArt for many years, and we were recently honoured to extend the collaboration to our home turf: ColArt Sweden.
Together we developed the communicative concept ‘Jump start your creativity!’; the main goal being lowering the threshold of artistic activities, and help consumers find their inner creativity by offering simple yet fun products (and, of course, lots of inspiration!).
To help do this, we built a trade stand at the Formex fair in Stockholm. The stand was filled with products from Reeves and Snazaroo for everyone to try out, but the real treat was a huge ‘Paint by numbers’-wallpaper covering one of the walls, encouraging everyone who came by to help color in the big illustration. We also invited the influencer Hanna Wendelbo give talks about new, exiciting trends and some inspirational tips!
Golfing in Excellence
The Danish golf course designed by Nicklaus design was launched this summer, and we had the honour to prepare some brand collateral for this special occasion.
“Great Northern” is located near the coast of Odense, and the owners – the family also in charge of world famous toy brand Lego – have been paying attention to every minuscule detail, to provide their members with the finest possible golfing experience.

A sneak peek from the short list
In the jury room the jury had some intense days going through around 4000 entries during the Cannes Lions 2017. The week gave a lot of inspiration and amazing contributions from all over the world. The first thinning of the nominees ended on the Shortlist.
Shortlist is the first step towards maybe reaching Bronze, Silver and Gold –or Grand Prix for the best ever.
