Planeta has done a total re-branding of Efmab, a family owned service company. The initial analysis revealed several usp:s that informed the strategy going forward. We created a brand platform that reflected the business, projected trustability and validated the customer which led to immediate and drastic growth of both turnover and client base.
“The cooperation with Planeta Design has been very rewarding and fun, both for out internal self esteem and for our business. Planeta helped us analyze our offer and verbalize the values already inherent in the way we work. This gave us the unique strengths on which to build our strategy. To be a good employer that focuses on sustainability goes without saying for us, but now we reach new clients with our values. We launched our new website in June 2019 and a few months later we have around twenty new clients.” – Sebastian Fernandez, Operations Manager, Efmab

Planeta proudly presents Nordisk Film, our latest client. Their latest big production is the important “Min Pappa Marianne” and together with the good people at Nordisk Film we had the pleasure to develop the Key Art.
“The film “Min Pappa Marianne” is a warm feel-good story about the courage to be yourself and the happiness that stems from being loved for who you really are. Planeta Design has developed Key Art that skillfully reflects the film. It’s been a fun collaboration and now we’re looking forward to the Swedish release, the 21st of February, with excitement. Starring in the film we find, among others, Rolf Lassgård, Hedda Stiernstedt, Lena Endre och Nour El Refai. Direction by Mårten Klingberg. The film is distributed in the Nordic region by Nordisk Film.” – Pia Norström, Marketing Director, Nordisk Film

We’re happy to announce that our packaging design for SIMPLo has been awarded with silver in the Dieline Awards.
“Colour, texture and proportion are utilised harmoniously to differentiate SIMPLo’s coffee from a crowded marketplace but also bond its range as a family. And for the coffeeshops and bars who use packaging as an integral part of their visual merchandising, SIMPLo is anything but a wallflower. The packaging is just one part of SIMPLo world, a stimulating place where one sip changes everything.”
Dieline Awards formally recognize the absolute best in consumer product packaging design worldwide, bringing awareness to the immense value that lies in well-designed brand packaging.
Designer Luca Nichetto was born in Venice in 1976 and raised on the small island of Murano. As a child he didn’t understand that designing was a profession and something that people worked with. To him it was the norm – present in every part of daily life. With a glassblower grandfather, family, friends and neighbours in the glass industry, there really wasn’t anything else. And it was growing up in this environment, with the glassblowing craft and the island’s wealth of colour that eventually made their mark on his artistic style.
Nichetto first came in contact with Svenskt Tenn when he moved to Stockhom in 2011 to open his second studio. He describes the new Fusa series as a bridge between Stockholm and Murano. The collection was created with inspiration from Josef Frank’s Terrazzo textile print.
The exhibition is on now until 31st of March 2019 in the store on Strandvägen 5 in Stockholm. A must-see!
On November the 5th, Anna Jandler becomes our new CEO and Partner at Planeta Design, with Sandra Planeta carrying on as Creative Director and Partner.
Most recently Anna was the Commercial Manager at the production house Twenty Studios, and before that, Concept Manager at Bonnier Business Media and Veckans Affärer — one of Sweden’s biggest business magazines. Anna is a true leader and her experience in the media industry is substantial.
“Right now there’s an exciting shift happening in the world of communication. Brands are beginning to realize that you need to have a unique and adaptable brand platform to handle all customer and user interactions, like social media, product communication, events, retail, digital, motion etc.
Planeta Design has the competence needed to ensure that our current and future partners are able to grow confidently into the future and I look forward to doing my part and contributing to that. I also love the culture Sandra and my new ‘working family’ have created at Planeta Design — there’s a lot of heart but also smarts. Together we’ll make Planeta Design the absolute best partner for our clients and the workplace we all want to develop at.” – Anna Jandler
Welcome Anna! We are so excited!
We are so proud and happy to finally announce our partnership with Yoga Girl. Rachel Brathen, the influencer behind the phenomenon Yoga Girl, started out by posting photos of her life as a yoga instructor on social media.
However, Rachel’s message and mission resonated online and soon she had followers numbering in the hundreds of thousands. It was her determination to change the world for the better that spurred Rachel to take the worldwide Yoga Girl movement to the next level.
During 2017-18 Yoga Girl and Planeta Design have developed an international brand, designed products, created custom content and took the first steps in building an online educational platform which is to be marketed internationally but with a focus on the US.
“Together we believe that when the individual is at peace, the world can heal. Be good, do good – every damn day.”
